Packetts supports Brokerbility Academy

Shipley school leaver chosen from over 500 applicants for new apprenticeship programme and career in insurance.

Packetts have selected Jodie Thornton as their first Apprentice, working within the Shipley business as well as joining the Brokerbility Academy. There were over 500 applications nationally to join the Academy to undertake a apprenticeship for a career in insurance.

Jodie, who attended Sir Titus Salt School, Saltaire, joined following a successful selection process that included a psychometric test and face to face interview. She will now start the Chartered Insurance Institute Accredited Apprenticeship programme and graduate over the course of 15-18 months. The first Brokerbility Scholarship will be awarded in the form of a Higher Level training opportunity.   Brokerbility is committed to placing 100 apprentices through its Academy over the next three years.
