The Insurance Act – what businesses need to know

The Insurance Act received Royal Assent on 12 February 2015 and will come into force on 12 August 2016. This represents the most significant change to insurance contract law in this country for over 100 years.

Please find enclosed our summary of the changes that will have a significant impact on how insureds and insurers approach policies, creating new duties for insurers and policyholders to comply with.
