Marshall, our Managing Director, joined Packetts in May 2013 following a 23 year career at independent insurance brokers Smart & Cook. He rose from account executive to be joint MD at the point the firm was sold into Axa in 2008, and was MD for business development in the new entity. He was responsible for sales and acquisitions, looking after a national salesforce of over 200 account executives, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge gained from working in a large corporate environment.

Born in Shipley and still living in the area, Marshall joined Charles and Andrew Packett as co-owner and shareholder, and together with the other members of the management team will lead the business as it approaches its centenary and beyond.

Married with 3 children, he is a keen sportsman and regularly plays 5 a side football, runs 2/3 times a week and enjoys the gym. Marshall is also actively involved in sports based fundraising activities for local charity One-In-a-Million.
