Support for Different Access Needs

We understand that our clients have different needs when accessing our website, emails, or documents. We’ve provided guidance to help improve accessibility, but if you need further assistance, please contact your Account Executive.

Increasing text size on our websites

To improve readability, you can adjust the text size in your browser settings. Here’s how to do it in the most commonly used browsers:

Microsoft Edge / Internet Explorer

Select the Settings and more menu (three horizontal dots in the top-right corner), then choose Zoom to increase the page size.

Google Chrome

Click the Customise and control menu (three vertical dots in the top-right corner), then select Zoom to adjust the text size.

Mozilla Firefox

Open the Application menu (three horizontal lines in the top-right corner), then choose Zoom to enlarge the text.

Opera

Click the Opera menu (red ‘O’ icon), go to Settings > Appearance > Fonts, then select Customise fonts to set a minimum font size.

Safari (macOS)

Go to Settings > Advanced, and tick Never use font sizes smaller than… to set a minimum font size.

For more tips on making your browsing experience easier take a look at the BBC My Web My Way site which explains how to set up your computer to make the web more accessible.

Documentation

If you require policy wordings and documentation in an alternative format from what has been supplied to you, please let your Account Executive know.

Textphone

If you wish to contact us by telephone, you can contact the Relay UK service either by using the Relay UK app or by Dialling 18001, followed by the number you wish to call. You’ll then be connected to an operator offering assistance. Further information covering the use of Text Relay services can be found via https://www.relayuk.bt.com/ created by BT.

Visiting Us

If you’d like to visit one of our offices, our staff are happy to assist by writing things down and accepting written instructions or responses. To ensure the right person is available, we recommend arranging your visit in advance. Please contact your Account Executive if you wish to arrange a meeting at our offices.
